A Visual Summary of the Marine Corps' Strategic Roadmap

I’m excited to share a visualization I’ve created of the 39th Commandant’s Planning Guidance -- released today -- which is the strategic roadmap for every Marine as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. After a year of decisive leadership and invaluable insights from Marines across the globe, the Commandant has laid out clear priorities that will drive our Corps forward—balancing crisis response with modernization, enhancing naval integration and mobility, and ensuring the well-being and readiness of every Marine.

This one-pager distills the core elements of the Commandant’s guidance into an accessible and engaging format, making it easier for all of us to understand and act on these directives. Discipline and Core Values are emphasized as our ethical foundation, while the focus on Force Design highlights our ongoing commitment to staying ahead of the evolving character of war. I hope this visualization serves as a useful tool for Marines at every level, our partners and allies, sister services, policymakers, and the American people.
